Bio

Miriam Budzáková ist Studentin an der Akademie für darstellende Künste Bratislava und gleichzeitig an der Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD). Als Interpretin und und Choreografin ist sie bei mehreren internationalen Produktionen aufgetreten (“INTERPELLATION”, Pocitové rozUmenie”, “Heart of the factory”, ” passing / station”, “Anahlinamima”, “Still left”, “Encoleurs”, Bodies in Tsphere”, …). Momentan legt sie ihren Fokus auf die Entwicklung von nachhaltigen künstlerischen Arbeitsmethoden. Die meisten ihrer Arbeiten drehen sich um ortsgebundene Performances, Kontaktimprovisationen und physisches Theater. Sie ist Mitbegründerin des Multi-Genre-Tanzfestivals “Tanečno” in der Slowakei, welches seit 2017 jählich stattfindet. Miriam ist zur Zeit hauptsächlich in Österreich und der Slowakei tätig.

Dancer. Performer. Student at Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava in the department of Dance Theater and Performance. Simultaneously studying at SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance). As an interpreter and co-creator, she has performed and collaborated in several international performances (“INTERPELLATION”, “Pocitové rozUmenie”, “Heart of the Factory”, “Passing / Station”, “Anahlinamima”, “Still left”, “Encoulers”, “Bodies in Tsphere”, …). She currently focuses on finding and creating sustainable artistic practices. Most of her performative and creative focus is on the creation of site-specific performances, contact improvisation and physical theater. She is a co-organizer of the multi-genre dance festival “Tanečno” in Slovakia, which was founded in 2017. Miriam is currently based and is creating mainly in Austria, partially in Slovakia.
